GROUND FLOOR: Dining Room, Bathroom, Living Room, Kitchen

FIRST FLOOR: 1 Double Bedroom, 1 Twin Bedroom, 1 Single Bedroom

Kathleen is a comfortable traditional stone built cottage, with a modern kitchen including an electric cooker, a fridge, freezer and microwave, there is also a washing machine and tumble dryer.

The cottage is heated throughout and there is a multi fuel stove in the dining room and an open fire in the Sittingroom. The cottage is on mains electricity but has a private water supply.

Firewood is not provided but any FALLEN wood or drift wood may be collected and coal can be bought in Craignure. Electricity and linen are included in the rent.

The Cottage is open all year with short breaks available from 1st November to the end of February. The lets run from 3.00pm on day of arrival to 10.00 on day of departure.

Sheets, pillowcases and towels are provided. A cot and high chair can be provided (but not cot bedding). There is car parking space and pets are welcome.

Directions

Turn left off the ferry and approximately 7 miles from Craignure turn left to Lochbuie. After passing the sea loch and the fresh water loch, turn first left at the white gates and Lodge. Turn 1st left again and Kathleen Cottage is the 2nd 3rd cottage on the left. It is an un-made up road from the gates.

The cottages have stunning sea views and there is a sandy beach nearby. There is an abundance of wild life round the cottages, including deer, Golden Eagles, Sea Eagles and otters.

Deposit

We ask for a deposit of 50% at the time of booking. This will be returned if the booking cannot be accepted, otherwise it is non-refundable. We therefore strongly recommend Holiday Insurance.

The deposit must be received within 2 weeks of the enquiry, to avoid disappointment, and the full amount must be received 4 weeks before the start of the holiday. All bookings run from 3pm Saturday afternoon until 10.00am the Saturday of departure.

Short Breaks

Both cottages are available for short breaks between 1st November to end of February - please ask.
